Daily chart: UN data on attitudes among women to domestic violence suggests that in many places, international women’s day is not much to celebrate. Jordan comes top of this (non-comprehensive) list of bad places to be female today.

Interesting results. Probably the wrong word to describe a data set showing the prevalence of hoe control, but yeah. The relationship between wealth and domestic violence seems to indicate that money is a positive influence, but imo it’s the root cause. Violence arises from inequality and insecurity, of which money is a chief cause. Note to self: learn more about money/capitalism, and the alternatives.
